For two reasons.  First, the laws of several states require that anyone who makes a notary seal first obtain a copy of the notary’s commission.  Second, we think it just makes sense as a means to protect the integrity of the notarial profession, regardless of what state our members may live in.

To make the process as simple as possible, we happily accept hard copy, faxes, or scanned copies of commissions.
